Tips to choose a good desktop computer

cheap desktop computer
you won't find better deal on computers and accessories anywhere else. price on desktop starts from $200

Purchasing a good desktop computer or building your own cheap computer from cheap computer parts depends on what you will be doing with it. Maybe it’s best to approach this question with a couple examples.

Suppose you are planning to buy a cheap computer just for everyday tasks, to send and receive email and to do a bit of web browsing. In that case I would recommend you to buy a mid level Pentium III.

You should always consider the applications that you will be running most of the time, and how much power is necessary for the primary tasks. Email requires no power at all, and most browsing simply requires capable video card. So buying a high brand name computer doesn’t make much sense. A good cheap computer would be a better deal and a better use of your money.

Now let’s say you need to specify a system for budding or graphics design. In this case, you will be running some high-end graphics programs, even some video editing software. You need a high–end CPU 3.0 GHz or higher, at least 512 MB of RAM, plus a powerful video card.

Nowadays you can build a high-quality desktop computer yourself using cheap computer hardware parts. The best and easiest way I have found to build and save money on a computer is with the computer builder warehouse. The best of all you do not need to be a computer technician.
