Installing graphic card
how to install your graphic card
Before installing graphic card your must identify what kind of grapic card you have purchased (PCI or AGP).

Today’s graphic cards are AGP or PCI.
AGP gives a better resolution than PCI and most of motherboards are equip wiht AGP slot.
If you have a AGP graphic card, install the card in that slot, and then secure it with a screw.
Some graphic cards may need to be connecting to your PCs power supply. If your does you should plug it in to the correct power connector.
Power on and test
After installing graphic card it’s time to do the first test: connect a keyboard, mouse, and monitor and turn the computer on.
If the internal fans start, the system beeps, and the computer starting to boot, power down (by holding the power button for few seconds) and continue building your own computer.
If nothing happens recheck all of your connections. Make sure that both the processor and the memory are properly installed, and recheck those leads connecting the motherboard to the power and reset switches.
Installing other cards
Sound card
When installing your sound card for example, choose a free PCI slot and remove its backplane cover to allow access from the rear of the case. Position the card above the slot and push down firmly to seat the card. Then secure the card with a screw.
Sometimes the motherboard has an integrated sound card. (See the picture below)

Unless you are planning to turn your computer to a home theater the integrated sound card will suit you perfectly.
