installing operating system

You will need a Windows XP CD before installing operating system Now that you have it, place the windows installation CD in your CD-rom, reboot the computer and allow the system to boot from the CD-rom. At this point windows setup should begin.

Windows will ask you whether you need to install a third party SCSI or RAID driver. If you are using none of them you can skip this part by pressing F8.

If your computer froze during the installation of windows, there may be a problem with one of the parts you installed. Remove everything except the core parts like (motherboard, processor, RAM and hard drives); then, restart your computer and complete the installation by following the instructions on the screen.

Once you have successfully installed windows, begin reinstalling each component one by one to isolate the source of the problem.
